THE ASK:
To create a :30 TV commercial for I ❤ NY that celebrates the re-opening of NYC… in less than a week!
THE Process:
We shot in 10+ different iconic New York City locations, and cast for 20 SAG-AFTRA talent to create classic NYC lifestyle snapshots across a three day shoot.
Oh, and did we mention we prepped for the entire shoot over the span of 4 days?
We hired a tried-and-true cinematographer to capture all of the New York moments on a single handheld RED camera throughout the duration of the shoot,with a small and nimble crew to be able to maneuver in and out of the many daily locations quickly.
The agency edited the footage in less than a week with Uppercut, and hired a singer to perform the classic “New York, New York” tune.
The Outcome:
The client was pleased with the turnaround on timing and was really excited about the final product. The best part? Everyone had a blast on set, taking our own private tour of the best parts of NYC. The spot can be seen on TV and across the social channels for I ❤ NY.
