THE ASK:
To create plug and play PSA’s that could be tailored to a specific disaster response and raise emergency support immediately after it occurs. We needed footage representing regions around the world in crises that nearly impossible to capture.
THE Process:
We travelled to countries where Save the Children had recently provided emergency support (an earthquake in Ecuador, a hurricane in Haiti, and a malnourishment crisis in Niger) and strapped GoPro’s to aid workers to put the audience in their POV.
We created a brief and sent equipment to other aid workers rescuing Syrian refugees and dealing with tropical storms in the Philippines.
We took all the footage we were able to gather and created a compelling and cohesive visual story showing the important work Save the Children does in emergency situations around the world.
The Outcome:
We handed off a package of PSA’s ready to go for a number of predictable natural disasters giving the client to tools to respond quickly when support is needed most.
